About Custom Railings

Regardless of the railing configuration you desire, we can make it.  All that we need from you is a drawing or hand sketch of the layout that you want along with the dimensions.  We’ll convert that information into an E-Z install, OSHA compliant custom railing kit. The kit is shipped promptly to you in components that are assembled with a hex key.  If a shop drawing is needed, we’ll do it.  If you need more than one custom railing section, each section can be packaged separately.  You can select aluminum or galvanized pipe and fittings in the size you desire.  We have mounting fittings for surface, side mount, or imbedded in concrete.  To reduce your labor time to install, pipe is cut to size unless otherwise requested.  We’ll even paint your railings to the color desired.  It’s really that easy and that fast.

Materials

Kee Klamp pipe fittings are galvanized iron or aluminum castings manufactured to the requirements of ASTM A47-77-32510. A range of fittings to suit eight sizes of pipe is available. Hex set screws firmly lock the pipe into the fitting. Set screws are manufactured in case hardened steel and are protected against corrosion by Kee Koat®. Kee Klamp fittings in Sizes 7, 8, and 9, when used to construct a 42’’ high guard railing, will meet the requirements of the OSHA Safety Standard of a single 200 lb. load applied at any location along the top of the rail when the correct specification of pipe is used and the correct method of design is employed. The integrity of the structure to which the system is fixed and the fixings used will need to be inspected to ensure that they are capable of meeting the imposed load requirements.

If a shop drawing is needed, we’ll do it.  If you need more than one custom railing section, each section can be packaged separately for each section so there is no sorting needed on the job site.
