Permanent Solution for Roof Edge Safety
Safety recommendations for the protection of maintenance personnel in countries all over the world are moving to a “hierarchy of safety” where collective fall prevention solutions, as provided by the KeeGuard system, are preferred over singular fall protection alternatives such as harnesses and wire systems. Collective fall prevention and fall protection can be achieved with the use of the KeeGuard system. Lifeline, fall restraint, and fall arrest systems require individual equipment and specialized training. In contrast, the KeeGuard system acts as a passive barrier and protects all personnel, even those who may access the rooftop infrequently. Our KeeGuard Roof Edge Railing System works along side your existing personal fall protection devices.

Installation of KeeGuard Roof Edge Protection
Installation of KeeGuard is fast and E-Z and is accomplished with a few simple tools. There is no penetration of the roofing membrane, our railing system is engineered with counter balance weights and merely sits on the roof! If you have more than one roof level or perhaps have more than one roof, we package and clearly label each section separately at the factory. This makes loading the KeeGuard to your roof accurate and E-Z. Once on the roof, KeeGuard components are assembled with a 5/16" hex key. Uprights are assembled first and positioned according to installation instructions. The next step is to drop in the top and mid rails into our specially designed 135 Drop-in fitting. Torque all the set screws and you're finished. Two people can install more than 300' of KeeGuard Railing in one work day!
